Birthday Experiences...

So I managed to stretch my birthday out for a full weekend! And I loved (almost) every minute of it!!!

Yesterday was the MK & JW’s Big Day of Old and Nude Experiences! In honour of my bday MK planned a lovely day starting with breakfast at her place… We figured out how to make French toast.. then went to get our hair done and a manicure.. then we went to Starbucks and took a taxi into the city. That was the old part…

The nude part begins when we got dropped off at the Ritz Carlton spa… we each had a 90 minute massage which was nothing short of lovely.. but prior to that, we had full a major waxing.. you know… down there. It was quite the experience… but I guess I was in for it when MK said we were going to do something we had never done before.. which is a bit scary seeing all that we have experienced since being here... odd situations that one only gets into on this side of the world...

Fortunately we didn’t actually do that part together! There is nothing stranger than lying there naked from the waist down with a small Asian woman right up in your business working away, and then casually asking: “So where are you from?”

So yeah, I did it. My mother had me when she was around my age, I got all the hair I got ripped violently out of me.. but I’m glad I did it because it was one of those things I’ve always been a little scared of doing… it actually wasn’t that bad for the most part.. until the end. I mean since it was my first time it took almost over an hour… I think I might do it again...

Anyway then we went for a lovely dinner at my favourite restaurant Koi and had escargot, and cheese souffle and beef fillet and dark chocolate tart with real mint ice cream and wine and it was just perfect! The MK and JW day of Old and Nude Experiences was an incredible success!

Today I had my birthday buffet lunch at the Marriot, which was wonderful and classy as always… lots of people came and it was lots of fun! I like when there is a nice blend of nice people in a nice place with nice food... perfect!

Plus only two weeks left of school... and we're all on holidays!

Yippee! You're here soon! And glad to hear you had a great birthday! You'll have to tell me more about the waxing. I've never done it, but have always wondered! LOL. Glad you're loving 26! See you soon!
