Yesterday I sent an email to HKN saying:
you know you have been living in SEAsia too long when you find a worm in your salad, two days in a row, and all you really notice or care to mention is how cute it is.
countdown to canada is on!
Today he replied:
You know you've been in SEAsia too long when your poo is solid, and you're worried something is wrong, or when you equate an upset gurgly-warm stomach to being sufficiently full. "Okay, diarhea belly is coming on, must mean I'm done with dinner".
Countdown to Swiss Chalet, oysters, fresh air, real bacon for you! oh man.
Sorry if that's a tad too graphic.. but sadly it's our reality...
The countdown is on... 4 weeks tomorrow.. assuming I get a flight... I now have to wait til next week to know for sure and it's killing me! I don't like not knowing... but it's okay!

you know, it's totally true... and it's not uncommon for the topic of conversation to be poo-related: who's doing it, who's not, frequency, consistency, floatability...
welcome to our world! so, how often are you going?
It's really sad that i can answer: more than you!
